Company History Founded by Raymond E. Kessler in 1940, Kessler Construction got it's start as a road builder and paving contractor serving the Hartford area. Kessler Construction, now a third generation family operated company, continues to be run with the same values that have helped it thrive in a highly competitive and risky industry for over 60 years. Kessler Construction's commitment to its employees is unmatched in the industry. The Kessler Management Team is built around people who have made Kessler Construction their career, not their job. Today the Kessler Companies consist of two primary businesses. The Kessler Construction Company, Inc. and Kessler Installation Corp.. Kessler Construction's focus is Site Work, Road Work, Utility Work and Athletic Field Construction. Kessler Installation Corp. is involved in Tank Installation, Tank Removal and Remediation Work. Together these companies employ up to 65 people and maintain a fleet of over 100 pieces of equipment and trucks. The Kessler Companies are fully insured and bonded to 10 million dollars.
